On-Campus Housing

Being in an on-campus student accommodation Galway can turn out to be a wonderful experience in your life. You live within a close distance to your university and can access the lecture halls in less than five minutes. Before renting, you must check because various complexes can differ in their characteristics. Ensuite Room: An en-suite room is a unit that is inhabited by a single individual. An attached bathroom is offered in an ensuite room. But the kitchens and lounges are communal, and they are located in larger units.

Non-Ensuite Room: A non-ensuite room is occupied by a single individual; however, there is no attached bathroom within it. The occupants of the non-ensuite rooms will have to share the common bathrooms in the larger units. There is also sharing of the kitchen and rooms, as in the case of ensuite rooms.

Shared Room: A shared room is used by several residents, the number of whom can be two or more. Shared rooms are made up of everything communal, such as kitchens, lounges, and bathrooms.

Studio: The Studio is a complete unit where there is a huge area with living space, a bed, a study area, and a kitchen space. All of the studios are fitted with an attached bathroom. In some studios, there is only one occupant, whereas in others, there are also some occupants. In most of them, you have both choices, that is, you can keep to yourself in a studio, or you can live with a studio-mate. It is also possible to begin living alone in such a studio and can rearrange a fellow inhabitant after a few days.

Apartment: An apartment is a flat, normally housing several people. A typical one bedroom is assigned to one or two occupants. In the apartment, each bedroom can have its own ensuite bathroom, or the apartment can have one or more communal bathrooms. Most of the apartments have kitchens and lounges which are shared, though in uncommon cases, certain apartments can have open kitchen spaces.

Private Rental Apartments

The private rental apartments are not linked to any complexes, and give freedom to the students as well. These apartments can be rented in full, or a room of the apartment can be rented. In these apartments, full freedom is provided to students, and they are required to make most of the arrangements on their own. However, certain apartments might include some facilities, such as Wi-Fi, kitchenware, and others.

Homestays

The homestays are household locations in the residences of the locals in Galway. There are locals who provide residence facilities to the students.
